We had to break our 4 hour driving limit today. We actually drove 5.5 but since we have to check in for our 3 day City Slickers Horseback riding/camping adventure at 9am tomorrow morning, we didn’t want to have to get up at the crack of dawn to be able to get here on time.

We crossed into Washington and drove along the Columbia River for awhile.

We stopped at Big T’s Grill for a great breakfast!

Then we stopped at St Johns Greek Monestary and got some coffee and the most amazing baklava I have ever had. They had a great gift shop with tons of Greek food and trinkets that was run by the woman’s monastic community.

We got to Wenatchee around 3:30pm. We had to get Cat a raincoat and also found H a cowboy hat as well.

As tonight was our 19th wedding anniversary, the 3 of us celebrated by going to a Japanese Hibachi restaurant for dinner. It was the same thing we did 19 years ago after our wedding ceremony.  Happy Anniversary babe! I am the luckiest girl in the world to have you by my side in this crazy thing called life! (And parenting!)
